In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, CSR Cyprus held its 9th Annual General Meeting on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Lemon Park in Nicosia. The event brought together representatives from Member organisations, partners, and institutional stakeholders.
Opening remarks were delivered by the Commissioner for the Citizen, Mr. Panayiotis Palates; the Commissioner for the Environment and Animal Welfare, Ms Antonia Theodosiou; and the Director General of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), Mr Michalis Antoniou. All three speakers praised CSR Cyprus for its vital role in fostering public dialogue in Cyprus and promoting sustainability. They emphasized the importance of active partnerships in advancing the principles of sustainable development in ourcountry.
During the review of activities for the period July 2024 – June 2025, BoD Chair Dr Marinos Voukkis highlighted the continued growth of the Network, which now counts 75 Members, along with its expanding collaborations and increased visibility. He underscored the tangible value Members gain from their participation in the Network. As Dr Voukis pointed out, core strategic pillars set out by the BoD include: delivering added value to Members, fostering active partnerships, and strengthening the brand and outreach of CSR Cyprus both locally and internationally.
Treasurer, Mr Kyriakos Siakallis, presented the Financial Statements for 2024. The approval of proposed amendments to the Association's Memorandum ensued, read by Secretary, Ms Maria Mavridou. The Members unanimously approved the changes.
As part of the AGM, elections were held for the new Board of Directors, which is now composed as follows:
