Best Practices Awards
CSR Cyprus established the Awards of Best Practices for CSR and Sustainability. The aim of this institution is to highlight the contribution of enterprises in managing a number of issues concerning themselves and their stakeholders by undertaking and actively participating in CSR and Sustainability initiatives.
Introduced by CSR Cyprus in collaboration with the Directorate-General for European Programs, Coordination and Development (DG EPCD) this initiative was launched in 2018. It aims to contribute to the implementation of responsible entrepreneurship covering all business areas, by promoting good sustainable practices. The initiative also aims to highlight innovative approaches in promoting CSR and in achieving the "2030 Agenda" which aligns with the aims of the ‘’European Green Deal’’ initiative and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this initiative, that runs every two years, leading companies in the fields of CSR and Sustainability, which have integrated this approach in their Strategy and in their business goals and objectives, are awarded.
The 2021 competition was co-organized by CSR Cyprus and the Authority of Cooperative Societies of the Republic of Cyprus, which is now the Public Authority for CSR in Cyprus.
