More specifically, cdbbank supports financially the staffing of the new Child Oncology Centre with scientific personnel and specialised equipment, which focuses on the research and development of new therapeutic and diagnostic methods and protocols.
Furthermore, the Bank rewards academic excellence. In this context, it established the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM) in 1990. CIIM is an international non-profit organization, aiming to act as a centre of excellence in the field of postgraduate studies and research in the areas of Business Management and Public Administration, both in Cyprus and the rest of the world. Additionally, on an annual basis, cdbbank awards cash prizes to students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management of the University of Cyprus, who are distinguished for their excellent academic performance.
Additionally, as an environmentally sensitive organization, cdbbank has introduced “green” loans in its range of lending products, which can be utilised for the purchase, expansion, and development of business premises or for the development of green energy systems.
