In May 2006, Hermes Airports Ltd undertook Larnaka and Pafos International Airports' operation and management under a 25-year BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) concession agreement with the Republic of Cyprus. It is a Cyprus-based registered company with an international consortium of 9 shareholders, representing a mix of Cypriot and international partners.
Hermes Airports is committed to improving Cyprus' connectivity and enhancing the overall passenger experience. During 2019, more than 70 airlines operated in Cyprus, connecting it with 120 destinations in 40 countries. In 2019, more than 11 million passengers were traveled to and from Larnaka and Pafos International Airports.
The company closely cooperates with airlines, travel agents, and tourism stakeholders in Cyprus to promote the country as a tourist destination.

The objective is to eliminate carbon dioxide emissions deriving from the operation of the two terminal buildings in the next few years. Concurrently, the company works together with the rest of the airport community to create synergies for protecting the environment based on our industry's international standards of sustainable development.
