Maria Mavridou holds the position of the Company Secretary at Vassiliko Cement Works Public Company Ltd from 2004 and she is a Member of the Management Team since July 2019. Among others, Maria is responsible for matters concerning corporate governance, shareholder relations, as well as Corporate Social Responsibility. She is a Member of the Board of Directors of CSR Cyprus since 2021. Maria holds a BA in Business and Public Administration with a focus in Finance from the University of Cyprus and an MA (Econ) in Finance from the University of Manchester.
Maria was the Managing Director and Compliance Officer for Anti-Money Laundering at Hellenic Secretarial Services Ltd (a licensed administrative services company, by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission) for a period of four years, as well as the Secretary of the Boards of Directors of Hellenic Mining Public Company Ltd; Hellenic Technical Enterprises Ltd; Hellenic Tzilalis (Cyprus) Ltd (Members of the Hellenic Mining Company Group), and Enerco - Energy Recovery Ltd for 15 years. The latter two are actively engaged in recycling and managing alternative fuels, and recovering energy from waste. She also has six years of experience in the financial sector.
