Register now for free and secure your spot for the 21 virtual sessions of the European SDG Summit “Together for an Inclusive Green Deal”, organised by CSR Europe, between 10-12 October 2022, with the participation of CSR Cyprus. The event, including 3 high-level plenaries and 18 European SDG Roundtables, will see the participation of +100 C-level speakers, including EU Commissioners Nicolas Schmit & Mariya Gabriel.

From 10-12 October, the Summit will bring together +100 sustainability leaders worldwide to accelerate the journey towards climate neutrality and the adoption of an inclusive approach to the green and digital transition. Confirmed speakers include EU Commissioners Nicolas Schmit and Mariya Gabriel, Ilham Kadri, CEO Solvay, Francesco Starace, CEO Enel, Camille Putois, CEO of Business for Inclusive Growth (OECD), and many more.

CSR Cyprus, in collaboration with NPOs CSR Hellas, CSR Kosovo, Core Platform (Μalta), IRDO (Slovenia) and LAVA (Lithuania), participates in the roundtable discussion ‘‘Educating the Future Sustainability Leaders’’ on Monday, 10th of October at 17:00 (local time), with the contribution of BoD Member Dr Marinos Voukis (Director of Communication, Marketing and International Relations Services, Cyprus University of Technology). The discussion will highlight the education’s catalytic role in raising awareness around sustainability and the need to integrate the transmission of new knowledge and skills, adapted to the new business environment that is emerging, in all levels of education, be it formal or informal. Best practices both from HEIs as well as non-formal educational institutions will be also presented. The agenda of the panel discussion will be made available soon.

The Summit will be hosted by CSR Europe virtually. Register now for free to have access to all the 21 sessions in programme, including high-level plenaries and 18 European SDG Roundtables to scale up collaborative action towards a Social and Green Deal.

Highlight of the event will be the launch of the European Business Roadmap for Just Transition and the second edition of the European Sustainable Industry Barometer at the opening plenary on the 10th of October. The Roadmap – developed by the CSR Europe People Leaders Hub in collaboration with BCG - supports enterprises in the strategic direction, methodologies, and tools to embed Just Transition within their purpose, strategy, and operations. The Barometer, on the other hand, provides data on the sustainability level and maturity of European businesses, with a focus on the social dimension of their ESG efforts, demonstrating the progresses made and where additional efforts are needed.
