The webinar will present the key concepts and requirements of ESRS E1 in relation to climate-related risks and opportunities, and how these affect the operations, strategy, and decision-making of organisations. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the main types of climate risks and the use of scenarios as a tool to assess potential future impacts.

Physical and transitional risks: An overview of the main risks arising from extreme weather events, regulatory changes, and other developments, with indicative examples of impacts on organisations.

Scenario analysis: A brief introduction to climate scenarios and how they are used to assess potential medium- and long-term risks and opportunities.

Linking risks to strategy and investment: Key principles for integrating climate risks into strategic planning, investments and other decision-making processes.
